Exciting new workshops added to our Education Conference line-up
Heart of England Music Breaking Barriers Conference - Workshop Update
Following confirmation last week that we have arranged a workshop covering the new OfSTED Framework last week, today we are delighted to confirm two additional workshops for our Music Teacher conference on 6th February at Warwick University.
- Orchestras for All Workshop - Confidence in Inclusion: Tools for Mixed-Ability Ensemble Teaching with Orchestras for All.
An inspiring session that unlocks practical strategies and resources to lead inclusive, mixed-ability ensembles with confidence and creativity in your classroom.
Leader: Emma Oliver-Trend
- Developing a Makaton Choir for Your School
How to develop a vibrant Makaton choir for your school, blending expressive singing with a unique communication system of signs and symbols that support speech and song.
Leaders: Suzane Whiston, Sarah Twiddy & Danielle Land (Lead Schools)
In addition to our outstanding keynote speakers, Darren Abraham and Prof. Martin Fautley, a diverse range of workshops for teachers will challenge us to address the barriers that restrict access, diversity, and quality in music education—and to explore practical, achievable solutions that empower every child and young person to thrive musically, both within and beyond the classroom.
Register to attend today and before 30th November to benefit from a significant early bird registration discount joining music teachers and leaders from across Coventry, Warwickshire & Solihull.
